Cinema | Winter in Sokcho

In Sokcho, a small seaside town in South Korea, 23-year-old Soo-Ha leads a routine life, between visits to her mother, a fishmonger, and her relationship with her boyfriend, Jun-oh. The arrival of a Frenchman, Yan Kerrand, in the small guesthouse where Soo-Ha works, awakens questions about her own identity and about her French father, about whom she knows almost nothing. As winter numbs the city, Soo-Ha and Yan Kerrand observe each other, size each other up, try to communicate in their own way and forge a fragile bond.
