Most of them are craftsmen working with wood, stone, stained glass, fabrics, leather and iron. All of them produce original and astonishing creations, such as the lake pearl made from fish scales.
Each year, this event attracts more than a thousand people, which enables the castle to carry out its maintenance and repair work.

The association for the preservation of the castle of Avully is organising the Heritage Days and is welcoming 25 craftsmen for the occasion over a weekend.
