This show is a performance from two storytellers who have been given a mission. Together they have to invent a crazy story, but not just any story, one about Charlie and the Djingpouite.
The children in the audience will give them an envelope containing 16 words and they will be the judge of whether the story is a success or not.
This show from Martin Bellemare is all about adventure and games. He plays with words and situations to write about a neverending quest, an extraordinary and bemusing voyage. The enchanting tale and play on words bounce off one another as if this short tale was being invented right there on the spot.
The simple set design encourages us to use our imagination and play with the words. The simple approach using only a few words means we are encouraged to listen to the musicality and poetry within them, and open new doors to our imagination.
