In 2013, we knew almost nothing about the history of this house, only more or less far-fetched stories gleaned here and there. Five years of research, reading documents: letters, notarial acts, soaking up genealogies, cross-checking to produce three brochures and this exhibition. This is how we were able to lift some of the mysteries about this unique house in our valley and to find its successive owners, all of whom were exceptional in their field, over the centuries. The history of this house is also the history of Servoz.
