Every year, dog bites account for several thousand emergency room visits and numerous hospitalizations, with children coming out on top in the statistics. (source Institut national de Veille sanitaire (INVS)).
Knowledge and simple gestures can help prevent these accidents, and this is the aim of the bite prevention workshops offered to children and parents.
These fun workshops are designed to get the prevention message across, whether with familiar or unfamiliar dogs, in the home or out and about.
They are aimed at children aged 3 to 12, accompanied by a parent.
They last from 1 to 1.5 hours, depending on the age of the children and the questions asked.
