Summary:
Jacques Prévert's inventory begins with "A tripe, two stones, three flowers, a bird, twenty-two gravediggers, a love and a raccoon". None of this in TEXTES EN STOCK, but we could make another inventory: a tramp, a feather duster, a blind man, a scoundrel, Karine, Jojo and an author. Twenty-two characters locked up in a confessional or a television or piled up on a couch or better still, in a theatre. And they talk, tell each other, confide in each other, pour out their souls, abandon themselves. Twenty-two characters who make up twenty-two stories from the imagination of an author.
