The story tells of the meeting between Abel Znorko, a misanthropic Nobel Prize-winning writer living in seclusion on an island in Norway, and Erik Larsen, a journalist who wants to write about his latest novel, "Undisclosed Love", which tells of the passionate correspondence between a man and a woman.
The meeting quickly turns into a confrontation in which the two men judge each other, observe each other, sniff each other out, timidly approach each other, push each other away. Between the writer who drowns the fish and the journalist who doesn't want to let go of anything, a tête-à-tête ensues in which sharp, deliciously cynical and terribly funny retorts fly around.
