Chérif Soumano and Sébastien Giniaux met in Bamako just over ten years ago. Since then, their
their paths have crossed many times, and their friendship has grown out of a series of musical exchanges.
In 2012, they recorded two tracks together on Sébastien Giniaux's album Mélodie des Choses, and in
decided in 2015 to return to the studio, this time to record an entire album as a duo.
