Acoustic walks: Alors on dranse in the Vallée d'Abondance

What better way to end the summer season than in song? Certainly not!
The Balades Acoustiques is a not-to-be-missed event in our mountains. Every year, the event brings together hundreds of people to explore our
of people who come to stroll our paths in search of sung stories.
A new way to discover the region between the Alps and Lake Geneva. Family outings that will give young and old alike the chance to experience a magical moment before the end of summer!

Pastures of beautiful Abondance cows, forests of varied species, the feisty Dranse river and even a waterfall will be our playground. Our gaze will be drawn to the massifs surrounding this valley.
This tour will delight everyone.

Program:

QUATUOR TIRABOSCO: Piano, mandolin, vocals & flute
- at 11 a.m. and 11:45 a.m.

MACADAM SWINGERS: New Orleans jazz band playing in the purest acoustic tradition. The New Orleans jazz style is lively and joyful. Tunes range from Sidney Bechet's Petite fleur to Spencer Williams' Royal Garden Blues.
- from 12:30 pm to 2 pm

GARCIN QUARTET: Strings - violin, viola and cello
- at 3pm and 3:45pm

TIMES TRACKS: Jazz - harp, trombone, drums
Three musicians, Christophe Saunière, Nicolas
Martynciow and Guillaume Cottet-Dumoulin bring their instruments together to explore jazz, traditional and world music.
- from 4.45pm to 5.45pm

A welcome coffee will be served before departure, and an aperitif based on local products at the end of the day.
Please bring walking shoes, weather- and walking-appropriate clothing, water, snacks and a picnic lunch.

Dogs and other animals are not allowed, even on a leash.
