A Vos M'Arcs is an annual monoskiing event that we've been organizing at Les Arcs since 2022 in partnership with the Association Française de Monoski, bringing together enthusiasts, novices and the curious around this discipline that's enjoying a renaissance. The event takes place on the magnificent Les Arcs ski area, a historic monoski resort in France.
Objectives of the event:
- Promote monoskiing: This event aims to rediscover monoskiing to a wide audience, offering beginners' initiations, equipment tests and freestyle demonstrations by experts.
- Federating the monoskiing community: monoskiers from all over France and other countries gather at Les Arcs to share their passion. It's a time of exchange, conviviality and sharing of experience around this emblematic discipline.
- Celebrating the history of monoskiing: organized in a resort that hosted one of the first monoskiing competitions in 1983, À Vos M'Arcs perpetuates this tradition while bringing a breath of fresh air.
The event takes place over an entire weekend, with several highlights:
1. Initiation and test sessions: Open to the general public, these sessions enable novices to try out monoskiing under the supervision of experienced instructors, and enthusiasts to test the latest equipment supplied by partner manufacturers.
2. Competitions and challenges: Several challenges and friendly competitions are organized, including races, to highlight the performance and creativity of monoskiers.
3. Entertainment and meetings: The event is also marked by festive moments, meetings between practitioners and discussions around the evolution of monoskiing, with guests and emblematic figures of the discipline.
