What is the Cani Trail?
It's a sporting discipline that brings together a dog and a human in the same effort: running. The dog, fitted with a pulling harness, runs in front of his master, who is connected to his dog by an elastic lanyard and a harness or belt.
The Canitrail takes place over distances of up to 20 km in one or more stages over 1 or 2 days. These events can be run or walked at free pace.

On the program:
- Saturday 08 July: "La Drêt", a short (KV type) 3km180 event with 652 meters of ascent.
Start in Montchavin village center at 7.30pm.
This event will be offered as a "fun bonus" to participants as a prelude to Sunday's race, and will in no way count towards the event's final ranking.

- Sunday July 09: "La Belentro", a 9km 800 event with 455 meters of ascent.
Start and finish in the center of Les Coches at 7:30 a.m.

Our friends the dogs
The well-being of the dogs remains the main concern of the organization team.
So, in the event of hot weather, schedules will be adapted. Water points will be set up at several points along the course to allow the dogs to drink.

Did you know? Just like humans taking part in a sporting event, dogs must also present a medical certificate:
The cyno sanitary form is a sheet listing the dog's vaccinations and their validity dates. It contains all the information event organizers need. It must be signed by the veterinarian to guarantee the validity of the information it contains.
This information will be checked the day before the event by the veterinarians present at the event.
