It's very large compared to what's usually available in the resort. It has a large entrance hallway with seats for removing ski boots and storage cupboards. It opens onto two areas. The first area is a ‘children's’ area, with a TV, DVD player, sofa bed, two bunk beds, a bedroom with a double bed that has a view of the valley and the mountain called crève-tête, a furnished balcony, a wc, two bathrooms, the first with a shower, washing machine and tumble dryer, the second with a bath/shower. The bath is ideal for bathing young children. The second space is the communal area, with a TV, a double bedroom for the parents with wardrobes and a desk, a bathroom with a shower, a toilet, an open-plan kitchen, a living room and a dining room - with a large table for family meals, and a balcony for dining in fine weather.

We have two parking spaces in the ski room, which opens directly onto the piste. The flat is on the second floor without a lift, with a very wide staircase.

Please note that there is no wifi antenna in the flat. The resort's wifi is available everywhere, free of charge or by paying for improved performance.

Valmorel is half an hour's drive from Moutiers-Les-Bains in the Tarentaise (Moutiers is 20 minutes' drive from Albertville).

The flat is located in Planchamp, right next to the Le Morel covered car park (P4) and the Planchamp uncovered car park (P5). There is a charge for these car parks in winter. From the car park, walk a few metres to the winter garden, where there is a fountain (usually covered in snow), then take a small staircase (La Ruelle); the entrance is a flight of steps from the fountain. This is flat 17 & 18 in the building on the left at the top of the stairs.

If you had continued up the stairs, passing under the ski path, you would have arrived at the ski school 2 minutes later. In summer, this is also where the tennis courts are.

From the flat, simply collect your skis from the ski room on the left at the top of the outside staircase and you'll find yourself on the Altispace piste, the main chairlift in the centre of Valmorel.

From the flat, go back down the stairs and 2 minutes later you'll be in the Rue du Bourg, where you'll find most of the shops, bars, restaurants and the cinema. This is also where you'll find the piou-pious and, in summer, the swimming pool and the tree climbing course.

In another direction, back across the Planchamp car park, you'll come to the start of the cable cars and other shops and restaurants.

The flat therefore offers the advantage of being in the middle of everything without being subjected to the noise of the Rue du Bourg.
