The route leads through the Val de Chaise, around the Dent de Cons, with beautiful views before reaching the Marlens lake. We arrive in Haute-Savoie, in the territory of the Sources du Lac d'Annecy, where - as you know - 60% of the lake's surface water comes from streams. Stop off at Faverges-Seythenex, to climb to the top of the impressive donjon of the Château de Faverges, with a 360° view of the surrounding valleys, including those of the Cols de Tamié, du Marais and de l'Epine. A few pedal strokes and we're off to Doussard, a must-see spot for hang-gliding enthusiasts. Here you can enjoy a paragliding or hang-gliding flight and step into the fresh waters of Lake Annecy. Next, the nature reserve at the end of Lake Annecy takes us on an interpretive trail to discover the flora and fauna of this protected area, also classified as a geosite by the Massif des Bauges Regional Nature Park.
