Les Gîtes de France

A Gîte is a private property that can be rented for a week (usually from Saturday to Saturday), a weekend or a short stay at certain times of year. They are located in villages or in rural areas.

Gîtes de France are inspected at least once every five years; the ratings vary according to the quality of the architecture and setting, the level of comfort and the services provided:
