To ensure you find the resort that will best meet your expectations, here are some questions you should ask yourself when organising your skiing holidays.

The holiday must suit everyone. Are you going with your family (with young children or teenagers), with friends, with your partner, with people with disabilities, etc?
Choose a resort that provides the facilities and services you need.
Family Plus resorts, for example, propose facilities for families with children aged 18 months and above. The resort must be able to fulfill almost 110 requirements.
What sort of athmosphere are you looking for?
Whether you are looking for a village resort or a high altitude ski area, a chalet or an apartment, the options are almost limitless. Would you prefer a lively place or a quiet mountain village tucked away in a remote valley? Are you after vibrant nightlife and places that sparkle with life? Torchlight descents, fireworks, mountain restaurant, haute cuisine, nightclubs, musics and bars...
How are you travelling?
By car, plane or train? Savoie Mont Blanc is very well served by all these means of transport. Shuttle services will drive you straight to your ski resorts from the airports or train stations in the valleys.

Do you like hurtling down hundreds of runs over a vast ski area linking several villages, or do you prefer to winding your way through pine forests at a more leisurely pace? Once again, there is an extensive range of apartments "all inclusive", hotel packages, serviced apartments and holiday villages. Are you looking for specific facilities, such as catering, entertainement, clubs for kids, cleaning, provision of bed linen, etc? Once in the resort, do you want to be able to walk everywhere, or are you happy to have easy access to shuttle buses or to use your car?
