With 24 ski resorts classified "Famille Plus", Savoie Mont Blanc is an ideal playground to discover alpine winter activities with kids.
A unique national tourism label, recognized by the [French] Tourism Ministry, and created to describe the welcome and services offered to families. In order to be labelled as such, these resorts have committed to adhering to a quality charter. Certification requirements are: a crèche for children from the age of 6 months, children cared for by professionals, activities to suit every age, quality infrastructure, medical first aid for minor injuries, and family pricing policy.

Many resorts offer free lift passes for young children. The conditions are different according every ski resort. However, they offer a free skipass for children under 5, free access to the cross-country ski area for children under 6 and special prices for families (1 or 2 adults with children)
Except skiing, many other activities can be found in the resorts such as: skating, sledging run, dog sledding or water activities.
Ski schools: just like for adults, the ski schools offer private or group lessons for children on a half day, whole day or weekly basis. A childcare solutions including lunch are provided in many resorts so that parents can enjoy a full days on the pistes.
The Piou-piou club run by ESF (French Ski School) are designed for children from age of 3. They are taught to enjoy winter holidays though play in safer area.
